Business Office

The EIT Business Office is located in 2125 J.M. Patterson Building. The business office is responsible for the department’s business administration, financial management and acts as a liaison between its customers and various campus offices and services.

The procedure of requesting data and phone services has been streamlined. DIT now processes the requests and routes them to your DR/Business Manager for approval. Please note: DIT does not handle Kim IP address requests.

Terrapin Works

Founded in 2014, Terrapin Works is a subunit of Engineering Information Technology in the A. James Clark School of Engineering. We provide rapid prototyping, advanced manufacturing, and digital design resources as a service to the campus and surrounding community. These resources range from 100+ consumer, research and industrial grade 3D printers, to high end subtractive production systems capable of creating complex parts in a variety of materials.

Instructional Technologies

Previously known as Distance Education and Technology Services (DETS), the Instructional Technologies unit traces back to Instructional Television (ITV) which began in 1978 as a self-support unit that utilized cutting edge technology at a large number of remote sites.  There was significant interest in ITV and its technology and it provided support, of various flavors, to many units on- and off-campus.  In 2003, ITV merged with the then Instructional Technologies Office to form Engineering Information Technology to take advantage of the increasing convergence of distance education and infor

IT Operations

The EIT Service Desk is located in 0123 Glenn L. Martin Hall. The office provides information technology support for the students, faculty and staff of the A. James Clark School of Engineering, the Department of Physics, and the Department of Mathematics.

Engineering Copy Center

The Engineering Copy Center is comprehensive, offering latest technology document reproduction, scanning, binding and media services to the university community for more than 28 years. It is the only place on campus to have 24 hour / 7 day a week emergency service. We offer special discounts for student organizations and guarantee outstanding service at competitive prices.
