DETS IT Engineer, Adam Kelly, presented on the topic “Making the SD to HD Transition” at the meet-and-greet poster session of the annual Mediasite User’s Conference, Unleash2014, held April 28-30th, 2014, in Madison Wisconsin.

Mediasite is a video management platform developed by Sonic Foundry that provides lecture capture and webcasting solutions. It is used by numerous universities and corporations worldwide. The conference, attended by over 400 attendees, provided a unique opportunity for Mediasite users to share information, explore innovative uses, and discuss best practices.

The meet-and-greet poster sessions allowed for one-on-one discussions of in-depth topics. Since partnering with Sonic Foundry, DETS has been a cutting edge user of Mediasite’s capabilities. We were pleased to be able to share information about our transition to High Definition video while also promoting the Clark School and the University of Maryland.
